Davis Man is a seasoned corporate and marketing communications professional, the author of PR@2.0, a Web 2.0 Corporate and Marketing Communications Chinese title, with over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing planning, advertising, publishing, media relations and event management in Hong Kong and China.

Davis was formerly the project director of the Next Media Group and in charge of the marketing and event management of Sudden Weekly / Eat and Travel Weekly, the highest circulation weekly lifestyle magazine in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining the Next Media Group, Davis was the marketing manager of Consumer Sales and Channel of PCCW, the largest telecom group in Hong Kong. He was responsible for the marketing and promotion for sales channels, including retails shop, call centre, online shop and direct sales team of PCCW. He was also responsible for the overall strategic planning, editorial marketing and channel development for “i.SHOP Guide”, a monthly consumer publication of PCCW with a circulation of 140,000.

Before joining PCCW, Davis was the public relations manager of Cushman and Wakefield Asia, the second largest property consultant firm in the world where he was responsible for both local and regional public relations programs planning and implementation.

Davis has also worked as a senior consultant in the corporate and financial communications team of Shandwick Hong Kong Limited and an account manager of Abbott Asia Communications Consultancy Limited, serving the public relations needs of multinational blue chip corporations including Australian Tourism Commission, Bausch & Lomb, British American Tobacco China Limited and 555 Subaru World Rally Team, Dell Computer Corporation, Fidelity Investment (Hong Kong) Limited and MasterCard International.

Davis holds a Master of Management degree in Marketing Management of the Graduate School of Management, Macquarie University, Australia. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons.) with major in Chinese Language and Literature, and a diploma in Marketing and International Business of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
